 14+  things to do this Spring just outside of the St. Louis area – 

specifically OUT WEST of STL.


Kayse and I are back at it with a local seasonal bucket list. We combined some of our favorite things, polled our Instagram followers and curated this Spring Bucket List - Out West of St. Louis.

This Spring we have a list full of seasonal events, local markets, flower farms, 

hiking trails & more – here goes!

1. Visit Long Row Lavender Farm in Wright City

Opening for the season on March 13th – Enjoy the farm, barn gift shop + café. 

Check out the menu here. I recommend a lavender cold brew coffee or lavender lemonade. 

They host workshops at their lavender farm and you can browse their upcoming workshops here

2. Shop Vintage Market Days – April 30 – May 2 

An upscale vintage inpspired market that comes to the St. Louis area seasonally - full of furniture, handmade goods, antiques, clothing, jewelry & more.

3. Attend Daffodil Days at Sunflower Hill Farm 

Sunflower Hill Farm planted 10,000 daffodil bulbs that will be in bloom all around the farm. You can walk the property, take pictures, enjoy drinks + food on the cafe patio, & shop a market of homemade goods.

4. Bake a carrot cake


5. Shop secondhand at the Wentzville City Wide Yard Sale

April 23- 24. 
Beginning Wednesday, April 21, you may purchase a booklet at City Hall or Progress Park for $5 listing all of the area sales.


6. Hike the Lewis & Clark Trail in Weldon Springs

Lewis and Clark Trail and Clark Trail Loop is a 5.2 mile trail that features a river and is primarily used for hiking, running, and nature trips. Check out this view from the overlook. 8. Sip a craft beer on the rooftop patio at Good News Brewery in Defiance

Enjoy craft beer + wood fired pizza on this stunning patio - check out this aerial view!

9. Take a picnic to Broemmelsiek Park in Defiance

A 494 acre park. Hosts lakes for fishing and 9+ miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use! It seems like the most popular feature is it's 4.7-acre off-leash dog area with a large pond for dogs to splash around + play.

10. Shop the Lake St. Louis Farmer’s Market – opening day April 3rd

Located in the Meadows at Lake Saint Louis. Saturdays from 8AM - NOON - they keep their Facebook Page updated with the details and vendors.

11. Head to the WashMO BBQ & Bluesfest

12. Tackle some Spring Cleaning
