Weekly Run-Down

Dec 9, 2011

Here is a quick run-down of my week...

Purchased this Wine Bag and this one from the Towne9 etsy shop. These will make great Christmas gifts {filled with a lovely bottle of wine of course}. I'm excited to receive them.
Partnered to host a Chocolate and Beer Pairing through work. Guided by the Brew Master of a local beer company and our Chief Chocolatier. Lots of great pairings. Christmas Ales, Sugar Plums, Chocolate-Covered Oranges..and on and on.
I really really want to see New Years Eve this weekend. It looks so great and I loved Valentine's Day, so I'm hoping this one will be just as good.
I received my Cold Hands Warm Hearts package on Tuesday and am loving everything. A detailed post on the contents will come on Dec 14th. I got paired with Chelsea, check out her blog here. I also received some great hand-made items from her etsy shop. Check it all out! Here's a sneak peak at the gloves I received...
Had a delicious tasting at work for an upcoming event. Check out some of the great appetizers we sampled.
    Top to bottom:
  • Chocolate Braised Short Rib Crostini |Avocado and Citrus
  • Shrimp Salad and Endive | Dill and Salmon Roe.
  • Blue Cheese Tartlet |  Chocolate Vinaigrette, Fennel and Parsley Salad
  • Mint Lamb Sausage | Harissa and Oil Cured Olive  (top)
