Rooftop Yoga
Aug 31, 2012
A friend and I went to a rooftop yoga class last night at The Chase Park Plaza. Doesn't the concept of rooftop yoga just sound lovely? Well it absolutely was. We relaxed and lived in the present moment while the sun was setting a light breeze overtook us. I snapped this picture as class was over. They are going to do this class (for free) monthly, if you live in the area check here for more information.
My takeaway from the class, and a few words you should live by on this Friday:
"Be present in this moment, and know that it is a wonderful moment."

I'm not flexible at all, so yoga isn't really my favorite thing to do (just because I'm bad at it)..but the fact that it's on a rooftop would definitely make me want to go!

I am SO jealous that you went to it! I went and toured that gym the other day and was so bummed I wouldn't be in town for this. It looks awesome!
ReplyDeletethat sounds wonderful, as long as there is a breeze!

Rooftop sounds just as amazing as the class I had on the beach!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so amazing! There's a place around here that does open water yoga, but I'm afraid I'd fall off my board and drown..

OMG that sounds like only the most awesome thing ever! :)
ReplyDeleteYoga at the rooftop? Wow! It sounds very relaxing! How long have you been doing this? I haven’t tried yoga but I am thinking of trying it, as long as it’s on the rooftop.
