Saturday Adventures

Feb 22, 2015

Yesterday was one of those days with zero plans or agendas that played out perfectly. My friend called me to head to Rise Coffee House for a coffee and shopping trip at Rack & Clutch (a fashion truck!). Afterwards, we decided to head to some local antique malls and see what treasures we could find. Below are a few of the great items I spotted but didn't pull the trigger on.

I got a few small items. I had been looking for a thermos for a while to use as a vase for fresh blooms. I plan to replace the red color with some copper paint. The butter dish seemed very Kate Spade inspired and I could not pass it up. I plan to use it as a plant holder. Lastly, this textured milk glass bowl will be perfect to hold jewelry or a plant.

If you live in the St. Louis area you definitely need to stop into Treasure Aisles and Big Bend Antique Gallery if you are looking for some vintage goods or decor inspiration.

We rounded out the day by hitting a few more stores, a local nursery to snag plants for my new treasures and dinner at a local restaurant, Juniper. It's another restaurant on my 15 in 2015 list, so I'll post more on that later.
