See Jess Travel - Denver

Apr 30, 2015

Last weekend myself and a few gal pals went to Denver for a long weekend. It was amazing and I want to go back ASAP. Our weekend went as follows:

Saturday:
Arrived. Grabbed our sweet Kia Soul rental! (I may or may not have demanded that we rent this adorable and quirky car!) We named her Olive.
Found a drive-through liquor store (I know right?!) and bought beers and headed to a local park to hang out and play volleyball.
Freshened up and went out Downtown to a few bars- The Terminal and Blake St. Vault.

Sunday:
We slept in and went to grab some brunch. I loaded up at the bloody mary bar, alllll the pickles and bacon please!
It was a rainy day but we threw on our rain jackets and headed to Red Rocks to check out the scenery and hike the trails.

Monday:
We drove to Estes Park and entered the Rocky Mountain National Park for some sight seeing and hiking up further in the mountains. This was our favorite part of the trip- This park is a must see if you are visiting Colorado. We hiked through snow, rain and sunshine all in one day.

  1. What a fun weekend! The Kia Soul is obviously the icing on the cake. How can you NOT have a good time in that car??
