I recently met my friend Erika and her little girl Lily at the Boathouse (located in Forest Park) for dinner and paddle boating. This is a must-do summer adventure. You can pack a picnic to take out on the boats and rent them for an hour at a time ($17) - time is loosely enforced.
If you eat at the Boathouse after, I recommend keeping it simple and going with a burger.
