First Time Homeowner - 1 Year Anniversary

Holy cow! I can't believe I've been a homeowner for a whopping 365 days. At this time last year my emotions were stressed to the max. I was working to get all the details and funds in place for the close of my home, packing, cleaning, celebrating - you name it! I was all over the place and living in a state of chaos during the whole move, I'm sure many of you can relate.

I have made steady progress in my home but still have many rooms left to style, organizing to do and furniture to purchase. I have a feeling year 2 will hold a lot of progress, fine-tuning and party hosting for the nest. It's been a heck of a ride, but I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so glad I made this move a year ago and am happy to have experienced it on my own.

Naturally I'll be treating myself all day. If you haven't noticed, I like any reason to celebrate- It's the little things. I started my day with a donut and a latte & I'll be ending it with champagne--which now that I think about it, this was the exact way my day went a year ago...except the champagne was around noon when I unlocked my home for the first time. This year, I'm working, so the champagne will have to wait. Cheers!
