So, let's get to it ---
1.Try a new recipe on the grill
I have never grilled pizza, and I'd like to try that this month. Digging this infographic.
2. Host a plant swap
How fun would it be to host a girls night and have a plant swap? I just thought of this and need to do it! Have everyone bring a plant that they potted and go home with a different one! Another infographic to use for fun plant options to buy.
3. Create a Summer bucket list
A few thing on my list include :
go karts / a picnic on the farm / taking a long drive on a sunny day with no destination in mind / a Rascal's game / more kayaking [see the full list here & an old one here]
4. Head to an outdoor movie night
+ Option 1 - a local drive in theater -- Skyview in Belleville, IL for STL folks (it's actually on my Summer bucket list)
+ Option 2- find a local spot that offers free outdoor movies
--- Chesterfield Amphitheater has family friendly options on certain Thursdays, FREE
--- Ballpark Village has movies on certain Mondays, also family friendly and FREE
5. Join your library's Summer reading program
I'm currently 30% of the way through my goal with the St. Louis County Library's. Also, this reading list is up my alley. I have a few of these on request at the library now!
So far this Summer I have read Spring Fever & am currently reading Same Beach, Next Year and listening to The Magnolia Story.
