On Friday my friend & I decided to have a spur of the moment dinner- We headed to Element, one of the restaurants on my 15 in 15 list. We decided to eat in the Lounge at the bar. The lounge was dark lit with quirky lighting and great views of the city. They also have a rooftop terrace with firepits and live acoustic music.

We had a burrata salad and an order of frites. I cannot stop thinking about this salad. It had a blend of nuts, cucumber and beets. Burrata is one of my new favorite cheeses, a Trader Joe's pizza was the first time I had tried it.

I didn't snap a pic of my brew while there, but I was sipping this Red Hook Long Hammer IPA. It's one of my favorite IPA's. It has a solid amount of hops & a citrus finish. Read more on it here.  I'm linking up with Drink the Day for her Monday Funday Craft Beer link-up. Such a great idea!
