Weekend Vibes & Feeling Very Content

Feb 27, 2017

This weekend was one of those that left me feeling 100% content. Like I was exactly where I was supposed to be, spending the time with those that bring me happiness. I'm grateful to be starting a new week with a full heart & positive mindset.

Main Event -- Shed Golf

Highlights --
+ Farm time
+ Back road driving
+ Antique/local shop exploring -- The Olive Tree Market Place

Shed Golf -- This is an annual event in my hometown that is such a fun time! This year did not disappoint. We had 4 teams in our crew [some of the crew shown above]. What is shed golf? Basically a mini-golf "pub crawl", except I am from a small town where there is only one bar, so we play in people's sheds instead of bars. So, there were 10 holes/sheds -each had drinks & food. It's very laid-back & the profits support the local Knights of Columbus and catholic school. Fun & a good cause - win/win.

My friend Kara & my boyfriend - Cattleman Danny - both first-timers. Also, one of the holes- this one was set up like a plinko and if your ball went into one area, you had to take a fireball shot.

Farm time + back road driving --
Sunday was a leisurely day. I rode along to check cattle & snapped a photo of the calf I named Ellis(below). He was the first calf on the cattleman's farm this year. Since Ellis arrived they've had 4 more. They expect 20 total. Yahoo!
We ran some errands at a slow pace while taking the scenic route, stopped in at his grandpa's farm, and then he got a call to go check on a new calf at his friend's farm.

Olive Tree Market Place --
We passed by here when running errand's and I have been meaning to check it out. So, in I went. So much goodness at such great prices! I definitely want to frequent this place - for goods & inspiration. They just celebrated their one year!
