Concert Rewind :: Eric Church

Jul 25, 2017

This post is pretty overdue, but back in May we went to the Eric Church Holdin' My Own Tour.
It 100% did not disappoint. He played two sets, just him, no opener..hence, holdin' my own. Me and the Cattleman went with my friend Erika and her man Thomas. We knew tons of people going in general because it isn't often Eric comes into town. It was a packed house.

The Cattleman's cousin was texting him..and it turned out he was nearby our seats in an all-inclusive box..so it wasn't long and we were invited into the box with free booze, food, private bathrooms, all that jazz. It really upped the experience to say the least. We had a great time rocking out to 38 songs played by Eric - you can see the set list here. I can't wait to see him the next time he's close!

Favorite lyrics ::
+ You're my compass when I'm lost, my anchor when I get tossed....but when it comes to lovin' me, baby you make it look so easy
+ Funny how a melody sounds like a memory
+ Easy on the eyes but hell on the heart
+ If I could only kill a word.. Yeah, I'd take "brokenness" out back and break "heartbreak", stand there and laugh
+ And hell yes I love my dog..but honey I love your love the most

Are you an Eric Church fan? What's your favorite song?
