The Nest

May 2, 2018

As I've mentioned, my home is on the market & is currently under contract and set to close on June 1st. I've loved this chapter of my life & am so happy I took the plunge to be a homeowner nearly 3 years ago. It hasn't all been easy-breezy, that's for sure, but I'm glad I had this solo home-owning experience. It's definitely given me a sense of pride to know I can provide for myself and handle the curve-balls home-owning throws. The component that brought me the most enjoyment was (hands down) decorating my space and to solely reflect my style. I had a lot of fun with that! So, now some images so that I can always remember this first little nest of mine!

So, there you have it - a peek into my space. It was a short-lived venture, but I met the Cattleman during year one of homeowning, and now on to starting our next chapter as a future mr & mrs on the farm! -- back to my roots

  1. I absolutely love it! Love how you decorate - the simplicity and elegance! We are just starting a simplifying process in our home because we have SO much stuff and clutter that it's stressful! You'll have a lot of fun decorating your new home... or does hubby to be already have it done up?

    1. You're so sweet. Yes, the clutter can definitely way on you! It's been nice to purge items through this process. It's definitely a bachelor pad..we refer to it as my blank canvas..he's a country boy, so he's more concerned with outside things (new sheds, cattle pens, etc) than any inside decor. Which is fine by me!
