It's here!! If you've followed along for a while, you know I've been mentioning a re-brand that has been in the works for a while. When we got married & I moved back to the country, the former blog name was no longer fitting.
Silex in the City, doesn't make a lot of sense when you're no longer in the city, but rather in the country, residing on a farm. I wanted a new name that would not only encompass this new chapter of life, but be fitting for the long haul.
I tossed around a number of options and ultimately settled on Roots Out West and am so happy I did. I knew the name needed to include the word "roots" since I was moving back to my roots. My move was taking me out West of St. Louis, and so that's pretty much how it all came to be.
This space will continue to feature life's little moments, a heavy dose of what's inspiring me and thoughts on things. I also want to write more about our farm and our herd as well as highlight places Out West to see, shop, sip & more. So many people local to St. Louis don't like to venture out of the city or county, but really the areas Out West of St. Louis have a lot to offer & new things pop up all the time - I want to feature some of those things.
Last, but not least, A HUGE shoutout to Jess over at Union Shore.
She has been amazing through this rebrand in helping me put all of my thoughts and ideas into some gorgeous, & very fitting branding. She's SO talented! I knew I wanted to incorporate my parents' barn and am so please how she tied all my likes/ideas in. She featured my rebrand in this post & I highly recommend you check out her shop and blog to learn more about her offerings & prints.
be sure to add rootsoutwest.com to your favorites & Follow my blog with Bloglovin so you can follow along with all the new content!
