5 things to try this month >> September

Sep 7, 2017

Another new month has arrived & I'm looking forward to soaking up the last of the summer days & ringing in a new season. Each month I compile a list of five various things I recommend trying -- these include anything from DIYs, book recommendations, sips, recipes, and new restaurants/events for St. Louis locals.
So, let's get to it ---

1. Celebrate the first day of Autumn
sip a Fall beer / host a Fall themed gathering / eat something pumpkin flavored / buy a new candle
whatever floats your boat, just celebrate it!

2. Scatter Joy
saying goodbye to one season and hello to the next feels like a fitting time to send a gift, scatter joy or help someone in need. Supporting those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas would be a great place to start!

3. Create a Fall bucket list
Gretchen Rubin feels like September is the other January - so set aside some time to create some intentions for the remaining months to come in 2017

4. Forest Park Balloon race
This is a fun event for the family! Who doesn't love hot air balloons?
Where: Forest Park
When: Sept 15-16

5. Sip on National Coffee Day
(Sept 29) - support a favorite shop or go somewhere new

Additional happenings for STL locals --
Lou Fest -- Sept 9-10, Forest Park
Taste of St. Louis  - Sept 15-17, Chesterfield Amphitheater
Take a class at Long Row Lavender
Craft on Tap - Sept 23, Clayton, MO
Wentzville Beer, Wine & Food Festival - Sept 23
Pure Barre Pop-Up - Sept 14th, Faust Park

Make it a September to remember!
